Firewire (IEEE 1394) board included!
MovieDVsuite comes complete with an easy-to-install Firewire (IEEE1394) board for your PC, a cable to connect your camcorder to the PC and the powerful MovieDV video editing software. Simply hook up and off you go!

You will make most of your editing decisions in the Storyboard window.  The Storyboard layout makes it easy for you to further organize and trim the visual media (clips, still images) you have selected for your project. You can decide what your video's basic structure will be by choosing an order sequence for your clips and selecting which transitions to use between scenes. You can even import files directly from Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and many other Microsoft applications.

Using the Animation window in MovieDV, create great looking videos and motion graphics with that cutting edge, layered look you've seen in commercials and your favorite music videos. You will truly amaze your friends and colleagues with the professional results you get from MovieDV's powerful compositing feature.

MovieDV lets you create files that can be played back on your PC, VCR or Video CD player. Or simply record back to your camcorder, or stream it on the Web! You can even save it to a CD-ROM or as a DVD (requires CD-RW or DVD drive and software). MovieDV supports AVI, QuickTime, native DV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DIB Sequence, RealVideo, Windows Media format (wmv, wma), JPEG, TIFF, BMP, FLC and most common graphic formats.

In the capture window MovieDV walks you step by step through the capturing process. Any camera with a Firewire port can be used with MovieDVsuite for video capture. Simply connect the camera to the firewire board using the cable provided and start capturing your footage onto your computer.

MovieDV will automatically detect what type of DV camcorder you are using and will allow you to control the camera's playback functions from your computer. Speed up the capture process using the Batch Capture feature.
