Street Atlas USA 2008 DVD puts you in control allowing you to plan the perfect trip.  You can precisely select the roads you want to travel on your trip along with seeing the mileage and time differences among the alternate routes.  In addition, you can add your own new local roads that are within a planned development and include your directions and routes.  With no Web connection required, you can select among four million places of interest which allows you to use the software on your laptop, PC, desktop, or PDA (Pocket PC and Palm OS are both supported).

GPS Requirements:

• DeLorme Earthmate or any fully compatible NMEA receiver from Garmin, Magellan, Lowrance/Eagle, Brunton, Rockwell/Conexant, or Trimble that communicates through a com port.

Palm OS Handheld PDA Requirements:

• Palm OS 3.5 or later, including Palm OS 5.0 or later devices with high-density displays (spoken prompts available on most devices with Palm OS 5.2 or later)
• Application memory required: 700 KB without spoken prompts, or 1.3 MB with spoken prompts
• Map memory required: 2 MB

Windows Handheld PDA Requirements:

• Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0 and later with an ARM processor and a touch screen (including the portrait, landscape, and high-resolution configurations of Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition and later)
